Bengaluru: Deputy chief minister DK Shivakumar Sunday announced that Biocon chairperson Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, former Infosys CFO TV Mohandas Pai, and other industry leaders would now be part of an advisory committee on Bengaluru -- a move that follows days of public exchange over the city's deteriorating infrastructure.According to a statement issued by Shivakumar's office, the decision came after a dinner meeting with entrepreneurs to discuss the challenges faced by the city. "Everyone has given excellent suggestions for Bengaluru's development. Companies can make their own decisions, but in a democratic system, we must work within the legal framework," he said.The DCM also said he told the group that public criticism of the city's condition often draws international attention.
