Jammu, Oct 25: Sat Sharma, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Jammu and Kashmir president and the newly elected member of Rajya Sabha, on Saturday, accused Chief Minister Omar Abdullah of attempting to create a "Jammu versus Kashmir" division in the RS polls. He said the BJP won the seat on the basis of its ideology, with some Members of Legislative Assembly (MLAs_ voting in the party's favour. "This is a historic victory for the BJP. We have won the seat from Kashmir soil despite attempts by Omar Abdullah and his party to create divisions based on Jammu versus Kashmir," Sharma told reporters at the BJP's headquarters in Trikuta Nagar, Jammu. "In the third notification, the BJP emerged as the biggest party, marking a historic win for us," the J&K BJP chief said.
