Veteran actor Satish Shah dies at 74

Mumbai, Oct 25 (PTI) Veteran Bollywood actor Satish Shah, known for his performances in films like "Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro", "Main Hoon Na" and hit TV show "Sarabhai vs Sarabhai", died on Saturday, his manager said. He was 74. Ramesh Kadatala, who has been Shah's personal assistant for over 30 years, said the actor passed away at his residence in Bandra east in the afternoon. "It seems he passed away from a heart attack, however we are awaiting the final reports from the doctor about the reason behind his death," Kadatala told PTI. PTI KKP RB RB

Flood situation in Arunachal improves; drinking water crisis in Itanagar

Itanagar, Jun 7 (PTI) The flood situation in Arunachal Pradesh improved on Saturday with water levels of most rivers receding, even as 33,000 people in 24 districts remained affected, officials said. Andhra Pradesh government accords approvals to a slew of projects

VIJAYAWADA: The State government on Friday accorded approvals to a slew of industries. Among those are Krishnapatnam Power Corporation Limited (KPCL), which is set to establish a 350 MW Solar and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in Thamminapatnam and Mommidi villages of SPSR Nellore district with a Rs 1,225 crore investment, creating 575 jobs.
