Bihar election news: Poll panel issues fresh guidelines for use of AI content in campaigns The Election Commission of India has issued detailed instructions to political parties, candidates, and campaign representatives on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in election-related content during the Bihar polls. According to the directive, any synthetically generated or AI-altered image, audio, or video used for campaigning must carry a clear, prominent, and legible label such as "AI-Generated", "Digitally Enhanced", or "Synthetic Content". The poll panel has also specified that the label must cover at least 10 per cent of the visible display area for images, or the initial 10 per cent duration for audio content. For video material, the label should appear prominently at the top of the screen.
