MOKOKCHUNG, OCTOBER 24 (MExN): The Nagaland Judo Association (NJA) has announced that an open selection trial for the Sub-Junior National Judo Championship 2025-26 will be held on November 1, from 9:00 a.m. onward at the Multi-Purpose Indoor Stadium, Mokokchung. According to the NJA, the Sub-Junior National Judo Championship is scheduled to take place in Hyderabad from November 16 to 20, 2025. The trial aims to identify and select promising young judokas from Nagaland to represent the state at the national level. Eligibility for participation is open to both boys and girls aged between 12 to 15 years, specifically those born between 2011 and 2013. Participants must be natives of Nagaland and are required to present their original Aadhaar Card and Birth Certificate during registration. The NJA informed that the selection trial will be conducted in accordance with the Judo Federation of India (JFI) and International Judo Federation (IJF) contest rules and regulations. A registration fee of ₹100 per participant will be charged. In addition to the selection trial, the NJA will also conduct a Grading Examination for Kyu Grades (Yellow Belt to Brown Belt).
