Hyderabad: A school bus was completely destroyed by fire near Laxmipura on Wednesday afternoon. However, no students were on board, and there were no injuries. The vehicle was fully engulfed.According to the fire department, the driver noticed smoke from the rear while dropping off students from home. "He immediately stopped the bus, alerted nearby residents, and got out. Within minutes, the bus was engulfed in flames. We suspect a short circuit in the engine. A major accident was averted as all students had already been dropped off," said an official from Chandrayanagutta police station.Fire and rescue personnel arrived quickly and extinguished the blaze.
