New Delhi: A day after police detained 28 Jawaharlal Nehru University students during a march, the JNU Teachers' Association (JNUTA) issued a statement condemning what it called "police brutality" and the university administration's "inaction". The students, including three JNUSU office bearers, were marching to the Vasant Kunj police station to file an FIR over recent violence on the campus when police allegedly forced them to stop.
