NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Sunday announced that the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2026 will be held in two sessions -- the first between January 21 and 30, 2026, and the second from April 1 to 10, 2026. Registration for session 1 wil commence from October 25, 2025 and the registration for session 2 will commence from last week of January 2026.Candidates can apply online through the official website https://jeemain.nta.nic.in.To ensure greater accessibility, the NTA is expanding the number of test cities to 310 across India, up from around 300 last year, making it easier for engineering aspirants -- especially those from smaller towns -- to appear for the exam.
