Delhi Fire Update - Massive Fire at Rajya Sabha MPs' Brahmaputra Apartments, Watch Video - Times Bull

Delhi Fire: While the festival of Dhanteras is being celebrated with great pomp and show across the country on October 18, 2025, a fire broke out suddenly in Delhi's Brahmaputra Apartments on Friday, causing panic among the people. Six fire brigade vehicles have arrived at the scene to control the fire, and rescue operations are underway. The apartment is located on Dr. Bishambar Das Marg and also houses the residences of all Rajya Sabha MPs. The fire caused panic. According to eyewitnesses, panic immediately gripped the apartment complex upon the fire's outbreak. Many residents rushed out, while police and firefighters began evacuating people to safety. Videos from the scene show smoke rising from the building and people gathered outside the ground floor. The fire department stated that the fire has now been brought under control and rescue operations are currently underway. No one was trapped in the building, and no injuries have been reported. The cause of the fire remains unknown at the time of writing. ADO Bhupendra of the Delhi Fire Service reported that a fire was reported at the Brahmaputra Apartments near Pandit Pant Marg at around 1:22 p.m. He said, "Since it's a high-rise building, we immediately dispatched 14 fire engines, including a TTL, to the scene." According to ADO Bhupendra, the fire caused the most damage to the building's stilt floor. He added, "The fire has been brought under control, but firefighters are still working to restore normalcy."
