Chennai: Tamil Nadu govt has taken "unbiased and stringent" action in connection with the kidney racket in Namakkal, health minister Ma Subramanian told the assembly on Thursday. Responding to a special call attention motion moved by leader of opposition Edappadi K Palaniswami, Subramanian said departmental action had been initiated against seven persons, the transplant licences of two private hospitals were cancelled, and two brokers have been arrested.
