Mumbai: On January 15, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to inaugurate the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) temple at Sector 23. Given this, the traffic police have declared traffic diversions and route blockades in many areas of the city. The traffic police notification read that many routes will remain open only for VIP vehicles, emergency services, police vehicles, and event attendees. The routes include both lanes of the road from Ove Gaon Police Chowki to J. Kumar Circle, the road from Gurudwara Chowk to J Kumar Circle along BD Somani School, and the road from Gate Number 1 to Gate Number 2 of the ISKCON temple. Apart from the above-mentioned vehicles, all other vehicles will be restricted from entering the route. Alternative routes to avoid congestion during ISKCON event The traffic department has suggested several other routes for the convenience of the people. The alternate routes include: 1. Traffic moving from Prashant Corner to Ove Gaon Police Chowki and from Ove Gaon Chowk to J. Kumar Circle can take a turn from Prashant Corner to reach their destination. 2. Vehicles coming from Shilp Chowk to J Kumar Circle or towards Ove Gaon Police Chowki can take a right or left turn from Green Heritage Chowk. 3. Vehicles heading from Gram Vikas Bhavan through Green Heritage Chowk can take a left turn and move towards J Kumar Circle or Ove Gaon Police Chowki from BD Somani School. 4. Vehicles heading to J.
