Hyderabad: Police busted an illegal rice smuggling operation and seized 300 quintals of ration rice in Dubbapalli village of Karimnagar district. One person has been arrested. The raid was conducted at a warehouse where large quantities of Public Distribution System (PDS) rice was stored illegally. Accused Gangaram, who was hoarding the smuggled rice for transportation to Maharashtra, has been arrested. The police have registered a case and are further investigating.
