New Delhi: NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), the renewable energy arm of India's largest power utility, NTPC Limited, announced today the commissioning of a new solar power capacity in Bhuj, Gujarat. A part capacity of 12.5 MW of the solar project has been declared commercially operational (COD) with effect from October 17, 2025. The commissioning marks a significant milestone for the power giant, as the new capacity increases the NTPC Group's total installed and commercial capacity to 83,906 MW.
