New Delhi: There has been a growing concern amongst the followers of Premanand ji Maharaj regarding the health condition of the revered saint from Vrindavan. Meanwhile, Dhirendra Shastri of Bageshwar Dham has shared a health update saying that the saint is absolutely fine. To recall, Maharaj ji himself had revealed details about his kidneys and had said that nothing more could be done. Interestingly, several people, including major celebrities, have offered to donate a kidney. He said, "Many rumours were being spread. He is a great saint -- his ways are divine. Today, we had gone to invite him for our padayatra (foot pilgrimage). We presented the invitation letter to him, and he gladly accepted it. He showered immense affection on us." Recently, Elvish Yadav, along with several other devotees, had recently spoken with Maharaj, who shared updates about his health. According to media reports, he said, "Both my kidneys have failed. There's nothing left regarding my health now. I have to go -- if not today, then tomorrow." In August, Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty's husband, Raj Kundra, visited Vrindavan with his wife to meet Saint Premanand Maharaj. During the visit, he offered to donate one of his kidneys to the saint. According to the attendants, Kundra was so deeply moved by Premanand Maharaj that the moment he learned both of the saint's kidneys had failed, he immediately volunteered to donate one of his own.
