Pune: Deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar on Wednesday told Shravan Hardikar, who has been given the temporary additional charge as Pimpri Chinchwad municipal commissioner, and Pune district collector Jitendra Dudi to complete land acquisition for key roads in Pimpri Chinchwad under the urgency clause.The directive follows complaints from several housing societies about poor connectivity and commuting woes, as many roads are incomplete due to delayed land acquisition.Pawar met residents and addressed a range of civic issues at the Jansamwad event organised by his party in Rahatni in the Chinchwad assembly constituency.According to the official statement issued by Pawar's office, the deputy chief minister personally received 3,000 complaints, of which 1,200 were addressed on the spot. Instructions were issued to the departments concerned to address the remaining complaints.Senior officials, including the civic commissioner, district collector and police commissioner, were present, along with Pawar, to address the citizens' concerns.Pawar has so far held four Jansamwad events in Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad.
