Patna: Leader of opposition in state assembly, Tejashwi Prasad Yadav, filed his nomination from Raghopur constituency on Wednesday and dismissed the speculations that he was planning to contest more than one seat. He called the nomination historic, adding that Raghopur and Bihar have written a new chapter of development with this nomination. Following the nomination process, he made a slew of promises via his X handle.He was accompanied by his parents, Lalu Prasad and Rabri Devi, and his eldest sister, Misa Bharti. Senior party leader and Lalu's close aide Bhola Yadav also accompanied Tejashwi, along with a large number of party workers who were there on the way.Talking to reporters on the occasion, Tejashwi said, "Several people were involved in spreading rumours that I had plans to contest two seats. The voters of Raghopur have reposed their trust in me twice, and I am going to contest only this one seat.
