New Delhi, Oct 8: The 93rd anniversary of the Indian Air Force (IAF) was celebrated with full military splendour at Air Force Station Hindan today. The event was attended by Chief of Defence Staff General Anil Chauhan, the Chiefs of the Army and Naval Staff, and was reviewed by Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal A P Singh. The ceremony began with the marching in of the President's Colours, symbolising unity and pride. Three Mi-17 1V helicopters, flying in the 'Dhwaj' formation, presented an aerial salute carrying the National Flag, IAF Flag, and Operation Sindoor Flag.
