Patna: Khushboo Mishra, a govt schoolteacher posted in Siwan, has landed in further controversy following a viral video showing her arguing with a Train Ticket Examiner (TTE) aboard the AC coach of the Ranchi-Gorakhpur Express. Mishra was reportedly travelling to Deoria, her home town, without a valid ticket.In the video, she is seen making a phone call while engaged in a heated exchange with the TTE. According to the Indian Railway Ticket Checking Staff Organisation (IRTCSO), Mishra called her family members to Deoria station, where they allegedly assaulted the TTE in front of Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel. The situation escalated to the point where the TTE was nearly pulled off the moving train.Despite the severity of the incident, Mishra was released after paying a fine of Rs 990. The IRTCSO has criticized the authorities for not taking stricter action against her and her relatives, questioning why they were not presented before a magistrate for obstructing railway operations and threatening staff. The Deoria RPF posted on X, "Khushboo Mishra was travelling without a ticket in the AC coach of train 18629. She had to get off at Deoria. The TTE asked her to get a ticket, but she did not get one. The TTE issued a memo, and she was made to get off at Deoria and charged EFT No. D-245730 for Rs 990."The IRTCSO shared a video on Oct 4 alleging that after calling her father and relatives, she assaulted the TTE in front of the RPF and attempted to pull him off the moving train.The TTE association has questioned the lack of concrete action in this matter. IRTCSO has asked why appropriate action was not taken against outsiders who entered the railway premises and misbehaved with railway employees in front of the RPF and created a ruckus at the station.In the Deoria video, she alleged that the TTE had torn the ticket and thrown it away. But the TTE had recorded the statements of other passengers in the coach in his defence.
