New Delhi: India's place in the world order as the country approaches the centenary of its independence in 2047 will be the focus of Aravalli Summit 2025, to be hosted by Jawaharlal Nehru University's School of International Studies (SIS) on Oct 6-7 in collaboration with Ministry of External Affairs and Chintan Research Foundation.The international conference, themed 'India and the World Order: Preparing for 2047', is being organised as part of the 70th anniversary celebrations of SIS, its dean, prof Amitabh Mattoo, said on Friday.External affairs minister S Jaishankar, an alumnus of SIS, will inaugurate the summit as the chief guest.
