Mumbai: Shiv Sena (UBT) MLA Aaditya Thackeray on Friday said he was amused to see the BJP, which not so long ago criticised him on "culture and safety" over the policy of "Mumbai 24/7", has re-issued a govt resolution (GR) allowing shops and establishments to remain open 24/7. Thackeray said the policy was in place since Jan 2020, and the BJP's leaders had criticised it then. He said he was wondering what made the BJP change its mind.The state labour department on Wednesday issued fresh directions reiterating that all shops and establishments can be kept open for business on all days of the week, provided that every employee is given a weekly holiday of 24 consecutive hours.
