New Delhi, October 3: Patiala House Court on Friday remanded a 14-day judicial custody to Chaitanyananda Saraswati, also known as Parthasarathy, in the alleged molestation case. The court has sought a response from Delhi Police on three applications moved on behalf of Chaitanyananda Saraswati seeking supply of seizure memo, signing of case diary and providing Sanyasi food, Sanyasi Garb, medicines and books, etc. He was apprehended from a hotel in Agra in connection with an alleged sexual harassment case involving female students at the Sri Sharda Institute of Indian Management in Delhi's Vasant Kunj. On Wednesday, Delhi Police said that objectionable items and forged photographs were recovered during a fresh search at the Sri Sharada Institute of Indian Management Research (SRISIM) premises occupied by accused Chaitanyananda Saraswati alias Parthasarathy. According to police, the search led to the recovery of one sex toy and five CDs purportedly containing pornographic content. The officials added that three forged photographs were also seized, which allegedly depicted the accused with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, former US President Barack Obama, and another UK-based leader.
