Varanasi: A 75-year-old elderly man, who married a 40-year-old widow and mother of three children on Monday, died on Tuesday morning following sharp deterioration in his health condition in Kuchhmuchh village under Gaurabadshahpur police station area of Jaunpur district.On arrival of his nephew Ravi from Delhi on Wednesday morning, police sent his body for postmortem to ascertain cause of death, said Gaurabadshahpur police station in charge Pravin Kumar Yadav, adding that Ravi had not made any allegations, but everybody wanted to be assured that nothing untoward had taken place with the elderly man and action will be decided on the arrival of the report.During the initial investigation, it came to light that Sangru of Kuchhmuchh village, was initially married to Anari, who died at the age of 65 a few years ago. The couple had no children. Since Sangru's brother and nephews lived in Delhi and there was nobody to take care of him, locals and relatives advised him to remarry.The villagers also helped find a bride for him. After meeting Manbhavati (40), resident of Baija Rampur under Kotwali police station area of Jaunpur district, whose husband died 7 years ago, and who had two daughters and a son from her first husband, he decided to marry. Monday was chosen for their wedding in a temple in presence of relatives and villagers. Sangru brought Manbhavati to his home with her children. At night, the couple were in a room until late, before Sangru went to sleep on a cot outside his residence. On Tuesday morning, Sangru's health condition deteriorated sharply and his neighbours rushed him to a local hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
