New Delhi, Sept 29 (UNI) Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Monday said the government is gearing up for the upcoming Chhath Puja, adding this time the celebrations are going to be historic. Gupta said the government is making arrangements to ensure Chhath festivities continue in an uninterrupted and smooth manner. The Purvanchal community is getting all facilities and support to perform the worship on the occasion. She said the government would develop ghats along the Yamuna and ensure cleanliness in view of the festivities for the Purvanchal community. The CM while speaking to media said that this year, detailed planning and preparations are being done for the arrangements, with a focus to ensure there are no obstacles in the festivities. The elaborate arrangements planned on the banks of Yamuna will ensure that a grand Puja can be organised, she added. Gupta said the government will coordinate with the Purvanchal community and stand with them to make the festivities successful.
