Gurugram: In a unique move, quick commerce player Blinkit has launched a 10-minute ambulance service to provide fast medical assistance in Gurgaon. The service, which began on Thursday, January 2, is set to make emergency healthcare more accessible to the public. Starting with five ambulances on the roads of Gurgaon, Blinkit's founder and CEO, Albinder Dhindsa, shared that the service will expand to other areas in the future. Users will be able to book a Basic Life Support (BLS) ambulance through the Blinkit app. Each ambulance will be staffed with a paramedic, an assistant, and a trained driver. Additionally, the vehicles will be equipped with essential life-saving equipment such as oxygen cylinders and stretchers.

Hyderabad: Swetcha Votarkar, a 40-year-old Telugu television anchor, was found hanging from a ceiling fan at her residence in Hyderabad on Friday night.
