NEW DELHI: Five trains moving from Mumbai towards the Manmad side were delayed by an hour to 90 minutes on Sunday morning after a freight train developed a technical snag between Lahavit and Devlali railway stations. The issue was resolved, and traffic on the Central Railway's down line was restored by 11 am.A senior officer of the Deolali Railway Station said an empty freight train approaching Devlali railway station developed a technical snag between Lahavit and Devlali railway stations at around 7.45 am. A team of technicians rushed to the spot and resolved the problem by 10.45 am. The freight train was subsequently brought to the Devlali Camp Railway Station, and the traffic on the down line was restored.Tapovan Express, Gitanjali Express, Vande Bharat Express, LTT - Ajamgarh Express, and a Holiday Special train were stranded at railway stations between Lahavit and Igatpuri for one hour to 90 minutes, added railway officers.
Tirupati (Andhra Pradesh) [India], July 14 (ANI): A fire broke out in stationed train coaches of the Hisar-Tirupati Special Train and Rayalaseema Express at the Tirupati Railway Station yard on Monday, Indian Railways said.
