New Delhi [India], September 27 (ANI): Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) welcomed over 5 million international passengers between January 2025 and August 2025. Over the past three years, international arrivals at the airport have grown at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 21 per cent, highlighting Mumbai's ever-burgeoning prominence on the global travel map. According to a media release, with direct connectivity to 55 international destinations, CSMIA has solidified its position as one of the most globally connected airports in the region. The UAE remains CSMIA's largest source market, contributing 1.5 million arrival passengers between January 2025 and August 2025. England and Thailand follow with 0.38 million and 0.32 million international arriving passengers, respectively.
