KCR Announced Maganti Sunitha As BRS Candidate For Jubilee Hills By-Elections

Hyderabad, Sept 26 (Maxim News): Maganti Sunitha, wife of Maganti Gopinath has been named as the BRS party candidate for the Jubilee Hills by-election. Party chief K. Chandrasekhar Rao officially announced the name of Maganti Sunitha. He said that Sunitha is being given an opportunity based on the aspirations of the people of Jubilee Hills. KCR said that Maganti Gopinath's commitment as a sincere and selfless leader has been examined. He said that after observing everything, he is recognizing and respecting the services rendered by Gopinath to the party and the people. Maganti Gopinath was elected as an MLA three times from the Jubilee Hills Assembly constituency. He contested and won the Telangana Assembly elections held in 2018 on behalf of BRS. He also won the 2023 elections. He died of a heart attack on June 8, 2025. He was admitted to AIG Hospital with a heart attack on June 5. The doctors' efforts to save him were in vain. He breathed his last on June 8 while undergoing treatment. In the wake of Gopinath's death, a by-election to the Jubilee Hills Assembly became inevitable. (Maxim News)
