New Delhi: After suffering two consecutive defeats against India in the 2025 Asia Cup, the Pakistan cricket team is once again considering including its former captain, Babar Azam, in the T20I setup. Babar has been out of Pakistan's T20I format since December 2024 and has been consistently ignored by the selectors. However, the situation now appears to be changing, and the board is considering him as a last resort to strengthen the team. As per reports, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) tried to include Babar in the squad during the Asia Cup. The board wanted to immediately bring him to the UAE and include him in the team.
