Bhubaneswar, Two hundred and eighty-nine migrant labourers from Odisha died while working outside the state during the last five years, Labour and Employees' State Insurance minister Ganesh Ram Singkhuntia told the Assembly on Tuesday. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has launched an investigation into three cases of violence in Manipur, including the abduction and killing of six women and children from the State's Jiribam district on November 11.
