Chennai: Madras HC has transferred the probe into the murder of state BSP president K Armstrong to the CBI. It also directed the CBI to complete the probe and file a final report before the jurisdictional court in six months.Justice P Velmurugan passed the order on Wednesday, on a plea moved by Armstrong's brother, K Immanuvel, to transfer the probe from the state police to a central agency.Armstrong, who was the state president of the BSP, was hacked to death near his residence on July 5, 2024.
