Tirumala Brahmotsavam 2025: Nine-Day Grand Festival Begins at Lord Venkateswara Temple

TIRUMALA: The sacred town of Tirumala is all set to celebrate the annual Brahmotsavam of Lord Venkateswara, beginning Wednesday, September 24, with the auspicious Dwajarohanam ritual. The nine-day-long festival, considered one of the most significant Hindu temple celebrations, is expected to attract lakhs of devotees from across the country. Significance of Tirumala Brahmotsavam According to tradition, the Brahmotsavam was first performed by Lord Brahma on the banks of Swamy Pushkarini as a mark of gratitude to Lord Venkateswara for protecting humanity during the Kaliyuga.
