Thiruvananthapuram: The Congress in the state is a divided house over Rahul Mamkootathil, MLA, participating in the assembly session, which is beginning on Monday. Even though opposition leader V D Satheesan opposes his entry into the House, a majority of the party leaders do not share this view. However, it is learned that Satheesan has the support of senior leaders like Ramesh Chennithala, who also believes that Mamkootathil should stay away from the House. But the 'A' group leaders and others do not find any fault in Mamkootathil attending the session.Meanwhile, Satheesan, as the leader of the Congress legislature party, has given a letter to the speaker informing him about the suspension of Mamkootathil from the party.
