Malda: Purulia resident Ujjwal Soren, a junior doctor at Malda Medical College, was on Saturday detained after the death of his partner, Anindita Soren (24), a junior doctor at R G Kar. Anindita's mother, Alpana Tudu, claimed the two had got married in a temple in Odisha and that her daughter had recently become pregnant.
