Hyderabad: The post-mortem examination of Renu Agarwal -- brutally murdered for gain by her house help and his associate in Kukatpally on Sept 10 -- has revealed that she suffered over 40 injuries including cuts, incisions, and lacerations, and blunt trauma marks on her body.Her autopsy was performed at Gandhi Hospital on Thursday.The 50-year-old victim was tied up, battered with a pressure cooker and then stabbed repeatedly with a knife by Harsh (the help) and his friend Roushan who worked as a domestic worker in another flat in the same Swan Lake apartment.The five special police teams formed to trace the duo, who came to the city for work from Ranchi, have not been successful in their manhunt yet.According to police and forensic medicine experts, Renu suffered maximum injuries on the forehead, hands, stomach, and neck. "The accused slit the victim's throat after attacking her on the head with a pressure cooker. They also stabbed and cut her several times on the hands and stomach," said a forensic medicine expert.Previously, investigators had confirmed that the duo tortured the victim to get access to the digital locker containing valuables. But they failed in their quest as she did not know the password. Cops track train routes from HafeezpetMeanwhile, cops have managed to locate the scooter on which the duo fled from the apartment and later abandoned at the Hafeezpet railway station. "As the only outstation trains that stopped at Hafeezpet on the day of the crime went towards Aurangabad (Maharashtra), Chittapur, and Vijayapura (Karnataka), we are verifying the CCTV footage at the main railway stations along these routes," said a police official, reiterating that a team has even been dispatched to Ranchi, to trace their whereabouts. "But so far, we are yet to locate them," he added.According to police, at 5.10 pm on Sept 10 Roushan's employer, Riya Agarwal, who lives in the flat right above, called Renu's son Subham to ask if Roushan was at their flat with Harsh as she could not contact him. When Subham couldn't reach Harsh to confirm this he informed his father Rakesh. Immediately, the latter called his wife Renu but she didn't answer the phone. "So, around 6.30 pm, Rakesh reached the flat and found it locked. He made a plumber, Chidamber Guru, climb down into the balcony from the flat above and open the door from inside. That's when they found Renu lying dead in the hall," the police official said.
