New Delhi: at the Star Rating Awards Ceremony held in Mumbai, two mines of South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) were felicitated. Hon'ble Union Minister of Coal & Mines, Shri G. Kishan Reddy, and Hon'ble Minister of State for Coal & Mines, Shri Satish Chandra Dubey, presented the awards to the winners. In the underground category, SECL's Bangwar UG Mine was conferred with the Third Prize, while Khairaha UG Mine was honoured with the 5-Star Achiever Award. Both mines are located in the Sohagpur Area. These awards were given on the basis of performance ratings for the year 2023-24.
