Jammu, Sep 1: The Jammu Railway Division of Northern Railway on Monday, for the convenience of stranded passengers, announced the restoration of services of four trains. These included train number 12445 from New Delhi to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra and train number 12446 from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra to New Delhi, which were restored from Monday, September 1, 2025. While train number 13151 from Kolkata to Jammu Tawi and train number 13152 from Jammu Tawi to Kolkata will be restored from September 2, 2025. Besides, the Northern Railway also commenced Jammu-Katra shuttle service for daily passengers and labourers from Monday, September 1, and it will continue till September 15, 2025. The shuttle DMU service between Jammu and Katra will be run as regular train services are not plying in the section. Meanwhile, due to traffic suspended on the Kathua-Madhopur line due to misalignment of bridge 17 and breaches at multiple locations in the Jammu Railway Division, Northern Railway has announced the cancellation of 68 trains originating from or terminating at the Jammu, Udhampur, and Katra railway stations. Besides, 24 trains have been short-terminated or short-originated.
