Patna: National Investigation Agency (NIA) apprehended Manjoor Khan, also known as Babu Bhai, a key suspect in Muzaffarpur AK-47 rifle and ammunition seizure case, the probe agency said on Friday. This arrest marks a crucial step in an ongoing investigation into the illegal arms smuggling network that has been operating between Nagaland and Bihar.Khan was identified as a close associate of Vikash Kumar, the prime accused in the case. The NIA's investigation has revealed that Khan played a pivotal role in the conspiracy to smuggle prohibited bore weapons, including AK-47 rifles, with an intent to disrupt public peace and compromise national security.
