Jammu Schools Closed on August 27: All government and private schools in the Jammu division will remain closed on Wednesday, 27 August 2025, in view of the ongoing heavy rains and flood like conditions in the region. This marks the third consecutive day of closure for schools in the Union Territory. The decision was announced through an official order issued by Dr Naseem Javaid Chowdhary, JKAS, Director School Education, Jammu. The notice stated that no student or teacher will be allowed to attend classes or step out in the prevailing weather conditions.
