The Indian Cricketers Association (ICA), recognised by the Cricket Board, approved the proposal to offer a one time benefit of Rs.100,000 to the spouse of deceased ICA members, in its meeting held in Bengaluru. The Board has approved the amount to be given to eligible families which is expected to reach 50 beneficiaries. The sole organisation for the former cricketers, the ICA has 1,750 members.
