New Delhi: At least 22 police officers and personnel from Odisha will receive police medals on the 79th Independence Day this year. Two senior officers - ASP Rabindra Kumar Panda and Commandant Naresh Patel - have been selected for President's Police Medal for Distinguished Service. Eleven officers from the state will be conferred with Police Medal for Meritorious Service.
