Gurugram: A 32-year-old man, who was caught on camera flashing and allegedly masturbating at a woman in Gurugram, was arrested on Tuesday, August 12, as per police officials. The accused, identified as Abhilash Kumar, is reportedly a manager at a multinational company. The incident took place on August 2 at the busy Rajiv Chowk intersection along the Delhi-Jaipur Highway. About the Incident The woman, a model and influencer, posted the video on August 5, alleging the man exposed himself while waiting for a cab. She also tagged police and women's welfare bodies, claiming no action was taken initially. In the clip, the accused can be seen engaging in the act in full public view. Following the post, Gurugram police scanned CCTV footage from the area and tracked him down. Have a look at the woman's statement here: According to officials, Kumar, who holds an M Tech degree, lives in a rented flat in Sector 11 with his wife and young son. He is originally from Haryana's Karnal. "During questioning, the accused said he was returning from a parent-teacher meeting at his son's school when he stopped at the intersection and committed the act," the police said, as quoted by News18. A case under Sections 75(2) (sexual harassment) and 78 (stalking) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita has been registered at Civil Lines Police Station. Kumar will be produced in court on Wednesday. Separate Maharashtra Gang-Rape Case Registered In another disturbing case, a 20-year-old woman from Telangana was allegedly gang-raped in Maharashtra's Beed district. According to PTI, police said the woman was spotted alone at Parli railway station on the night of August 8, when one accused lured her away on a motorcycle to a tin shed. There, three others joined him, and the group allegedly raped her through the night. "The three men raped the woman on the intervening night of Friday and Saturday, while the fourth one helped them," a police officer told the agency. Four men have been booked in connection with the case, and investigations are underway.
