According to sources, despite the Indian government's claims, the reality of the US-India strategic relationship has come to light. The mass rejection of visas for Indian students by the US has caused international embarrassment for Modi's government. NDTV has reported a 70 to 80 percent decline in the number of Indian students in the US due to this crisis. According to NDTV, the US visa crisis in India has intensified. Despite promises of available visa slots, the issue remains unresolved, leaving Indian students in deep distress. The report states that the closure of appointment slots and an increase in visa rejections have led to an 80% decrease in US visas. If visa slots are not released soon, the dreams of thousands of Indian students will be shattered. The report further mentions that Modi's government is facing severe political pressure due to the failure of thousands of students to secure visas. In every case, the visa was rejected under Section 214(b), as the US raised doubts about the students' intention to return home. After repeated rejections of Indian students by the US, India's dream of becoming a global superpower has been shattered. By blocking India's so-called young brain force, the US has exposed Modi's government's soft power facade. The US's lack of trust in Indian students has become a significant question mark on Modi's foreign policy.
