Mumbai: Another Mumbai school has received a bomb threat. More than a dozen schools have received bomb threats in the past month. Swami Vivekanand International School, located at Kandivali West, received a bomb threat, but nothing suspicious was found during the investigation. The School was threatened with a bomb blast through an email. In addition, two other schools received similar threats. All the threats were sent via email. Upon receiving the bomb threat, the school administration evacuated the premises and cancelled primary school classes. The police were informed around 11:30 am. As soon as the threat was reported, the Kandivali Police and Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad reached the spot and searched the entire premises, but no suspicious object was found. After a preliminary investigation, the police have termed it a hoax threat. However, considering the seriousness of the matter, the investigation is ongoing. The police are also trying to identify who is behind these threatening emails and what their motive is. Officials are currently tracing the source and purpose of the emails.

New Delhi, Jul 18 (PTI) India's most valuable company Reliance Industries on Friday reported its highest-ever quarterly profit of Rs 26,994 crore for the April-June quarter, reflecting a growth of 78.3 per cent over the year-ago period, driven by consumer businesses and investment sales. Srinagar: Searches are being carried out by Jammu and Kashmir Police's counter-intelligence wing at multiple locations in the Valley in connection with a terror case, officials said. The searches by Counter Intelligence Kashmir (CIK) are underway at 10 locations across four districts of the Kashmir Valley, the officials said. Searches are being conducted to locate terrorist sleeper cells and recruitment modules. Hyderabad: Following heavy rainfall in Hyderabad and other parts of the state, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has instructed the officials to remain vigilant and take proactive measures. Bengaluru/ New Delhi/Mumbai: Less than 48 hours after multiple schools in Delhi received bomb threats, over 40 private schools in Bengaluru were targeted with threatening emails on Friday morning.
