Srinagar, July 17: In a major outreach effort to enhance access to essential government services, the Regional Passport Office (RPO) Srinagar will deploy a Mobile Passport Van in Kargil from July 21 to July 25.As per a statement issued here, part of the Passport Seva Project (PSP) under the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), Government of India, the initiative is designed to deliver transparent, timely and citizen-friendly passport services to remote and underserved areas. According to B.S. Rawat, Regional Passport Officer Srinagar, the mobile facility aims to bridge accessibility gaps for residents in far-flung areas like Kargil. "This is a proactive step to ensure that no citizen is deprived of essential documentation due to geographical challenges," he said.
