The office, located in Sector-42, is reportedly associated with Gujarat MLA Virendrasinh Bahadursinh Jadeja. Upon receiving complaints from locals, MNS city secretary Sachin Kadam, along with division secretary Appasaheb Jadhav, deputy division president Santosh Tekawade, and other party workers, visited the office to seek clarification. However, the office was found locked from the inside. Speaking to the media, Kadam stated, "This is an insult to the Marathi language which we cannot tolerate. That said, we do not wish to disturb communal harmony. Our only demand is that Marathi language and culture be respected in Navi Mumbai, and that everyone lives peacefully." MNS has reportedly communicated its concerns to senior BJP leaders and has demanded that the signboard be changed to include Marathi by this evening. The party has warned of aggressive action if the demand is not met within 24 hours. This development comes amid ongoing debates over linguistic identity and regional representation in public spaces across Maharashtra. When contacted district President of BJP Dr Rajesh Patil stated of having spoken with the office personnel. "It's a private office of the MLA however he has been asked to replace the board.
