Dehradun: A truck loaded with mangoes overturned on Rispana bridge in Dehradun on Wednesday, July 16 at around 3:30 AM in the morning. It is being said that about 600 boxes of mangoes were loaded in the truck. There is no report of any casualty in the accident but people rampaged on the overturned truck to loot the mangoes. The incident was captured and is now going viral on the Internet. Netizens are slamming locals for their uncivilized behaiviour. As soon as the truck overturned, mangoes were scattered on the road. After which, local people gathered on the spot to pick up mangoes from the road. People were seen stuffing mangoes wherever they can and a chaos erupted in few moments. The video was posted on X by @TrueStoryUP and has already received thousands of views. The caption of the video reads, "At the Rispana bridge in Dehradun, a truck full of mangoes suddenly overturned. As soon as the truck flipped, a crowd rushed in to loot the mangoes. Some got crates, while others grabbed mangoes with both hands. No one paid attention to the injured driver or conductor. Some people were busy making videos. They didn't loot the mangoes... but they also didn't offer any help in the name of humanity." One user commented, "Honesty among people seems to have completely vanished. The goods that should have been collected with honesty to help the victims were looted, selling their integrity, and they filled their homes with the stolen goods." One user commented, "Helping others has become outdated in this life, and making videos is the new trend. Accidents are now entertainment, and an injured person is just a scene. Mangoes were sweet, but the taste of society has turned bitter. The conscience that once used to scream is now silent...because in the crowd, there are no longer humans, only spectators remain."
