Kolkata: Calcutta High Court on Tuesday allowed the families of two BJP workers, who died in East Midnapore's Khejuri, to file a case seeking a second postmortem and a probe by an impartial agency. Justice Tirthankar Ghosh listed the hearing for July 16.Das (23) and Sudhir Paik (65) collapsed on July 11 while attending a religious fair at Bhangnamari in Khejuri. Their families alleged that the deaths were not accidental, as claimed by police, and there was foul play.Cops had said the two men died of electrocution. Subhendra Kumar, ASP of Contai Rural, cited postmortem reports on Monday to support the claim.
