New Delhi: The demolition of a house in Bangladesh linked to legendary filmmaker Satyajit Ray's lineage has triggered strong concern from the Indian government. The building, located in Mymensingh city, is the ancestral home of Ray's grandfather, renowned children's author and publisher Upendrakishore Ray Chowdhury. He was also the father of the celebrated poet Sukumar Ray. The property is currently owned by the government of Bangladesh.
