Ambala: In light of the ongoing farmers' protest and their planned 'Dilli Chalo March,' all government and private schools in the Ambala district will remain closed today, December 6. The decision comes as part of precautionary measures in the wake of the farmers' march heading towards Delhi. According to reports, farmer leader Sarwan Singh Pandher announced that a 'jatha' of 101 farmers will begin their foot march to Delhi from the Shambhu border protest site at 1 pm today. The Ambala district administration has issued an order under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), banning any unlawful assembly of five or more people in the district to ensure public safety during the protest.
