Patna, July 14 (UNI) In a major step towards igniting the spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship across the state, Bihar Industries Minister Nitish Mishra launched the official Bihar Idea Festival Portal here today. Speaking at the event Mishra said Bihar Idea festival was not just an event but a revolution to make 'Samriddh Bihar'. He said that it will encourage the youth to take up entrepreneurship to solve the grassroot challenges of Bihar. He said that the youth will be sensitised and innovative ideas will be collected from them. Awareness campaigns will also be conducted at the divisional level, he added. He said that Rs 10 Lakhs will be given as a seeding fund under Startup Bihar Policy. He said that the portal serves as a dedicated digital platform for aspiring innovators, entrepreneurs, students, and startups to submit their groundbreaking ideas and business concepts as part of the Bihar Idea Festival 2025. Meanwhile Additional Chief Secretary of the Industry department Mihir Kumar Singh said that startup Bihar is increasingly focusing on making the entrepreneurial ecosystem more inclusive and accessible by promoting grassroot innovation. This approach ensures that innovation was not limited to urban, tech-savvy entrepreneurs but extends to rural communities, traditional sectors, and underserved groups.
